Events for Fursuiters of all types!
Throughout the history of furry conventions, fursuits have become mainstay, and even a growing segment of the visible fandom. The creation of the suits require skill, and wearing the costumes - becoming the creature - requires patience and one heck of an imagination.

What The fur has many activities for Fursuiters, and our repitoire will continue to grow as the convention does.

Fursuit Games
Games? Yes! We have games! What would a furry convention be without a competition of skills and wits revolving around fursuits?

What The Fur presents many activities in our own team-based competitions. From musical chairs to pin drop to scooter races, our games are sure to entertain spectators of all ages as well as the competitors themselves.

International Fursuit Hockey League
2013 will bring something brand new to furry conventions. Something never done before.

What The Fur is proud to host the inaugural games of the International Fursuit Hockey League.

The games will consist of 15 minute games, pitting teams from various other conventions or cities against eachother to see who can win the cup.

Who will win? Who knows!

The Fursuit Parade
Parades of fursuiters are a tradition at most Furry conventions. What The Fur almost didn't have one in 2011, due to a number of conditions.
However, after public request, and absolutely wonderful weather, more than 30 fursuiters donned their heads and made their way outside.

Outside?

Well, the hotel is a little small for a parade. And the more suiters and costumers involved, the more space is needed. So it was decided to give the city of Montreal a glimpse at the creativity, the spirit and the fun that What The Fur's members contain!

The route only covered one city block, but the costumers got to give Montreal's main downtown street, Sainte Catherine Street, a good show, much to the ammusement of the passers-by and to the poor people explaining what they were seeing to their friends on cellphones.

Unfortunately there was no parade in 2012 due to both weather, and due to protests taking place in the city. But with the expectation of a new home in 2013 the parade will be returning.
